ONYX Volleyball Club has been officially invited by the Japanese Volleyball Federation to compete in the Nations Asia Pacific Mixed Tournament in Okinawa, Japan, representing Team Great Britain.
This invitation marks another major international milestone for the club.
Building on international experience
In 2024, ONYX proudly participated in the Mixed Volleyball World Championship, competing against strong and highly skilled teams from Asia and Europe. That experience demonstrated the growing level and ambition of the club on the global stage.
The upcoming Nations Asia Pacific Mixed Tournament will see ONYX compete against top teams from across the Asia Pacific region – another opportunity to represent Great Britain internationally and strengthen global sporting connections.
Supporting grassroots sport on the international stage
ONYX Volleyball Club is a non-profit organisation. All players self-fund their participation, and international competitions require significant travel and logistical support.
To make this journey possible, the club is actively seeking:
